Ticino Marathon in Tenero 8th of November

The Ticino Marathon is held each year in the first week of November, the event takes place on the streets of the Piano di Magadino and pulls several hundred runners from all corners of Switzerland and abroad. The event comprises both marathon and half marathon and creates a wonderful atmosphere for rivalry while running.

Circo Knie 1st - 30th of November

Every November Ticino observes the conclusion of the annual tour of the Knie Circus, just after the performances in Bellinzona, Locarno and Lugano, the circus is carrying on a long tradition and offers performances from animals like horses, elephants and zebras, the Circo Knie offers lots of fun for local people.
