The Parsenn funicular has become famous since it was inaugurated in 1931 to facilitate this celebrated ski area near Davos which has 35 ski runs, initially connecting Davos Dorf to Höhenweg, the funicular today spans a distance of 1100 m and takes you to Weissfluhjoch ridge. The Funicolare di Mondovì connects Breo, the old quarters, Piazzo and the upper part of the town.
