Alprose Chocolate Factory

The Alprose Chocolate Factory is sited just a few kilometers on the outskirts of Lugano and is easily accessible by train and car in a matter of minutes. The factory is owned and operated by one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in Switzerland and is open every day to the general public, the factory’s administration organizes a guided tour which takes visitors through the factory enabling them to see all the procedures and practices for chocolate production.

At the Alprose Chocolate Factory there is also a small in house museum that provides an entertaining glance back to the history of chocolate from it's early days to the present day. The tour finishes with a visit to the factory outlet where the complete Alprose chocolate selection is available for visitors to buy, you can also find a variety of free chocolate samples to choose from, no doubt the factory and museum tour is a great day out for chocolate lovers.
